Abinaya -surya's 2nd heroine in 7am Arivu

Some time back, director Ameer lauded the combo of Samuthirakkani and Sasikumar for making Abhinaya, who could neither speak nor hear, appear as a 'perfect' actress on-screen in the film 'Nadodigal' and said that this was one of the 'achievements' that has never been attempted in any part of the country.

Abhinaya's next film 'Easan' too, ironically depicted in a character which neither spoke nor heard a thing. Accolades, however, poured in for her performance in the film but still no offers were forthcoming. Fortunately for Abhinaya, soon after the theatrical release of 'Easan', she got to share the dais with A.R. Murugadoss at a public event.

During a casual chat with Abinaya, it turns out that Murugadoss found to his dismay that the talented actress wasn't doing any film at all. Murugadoss, who has been making 'Ezham Arivu' with Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead and was on the look-out for a second heroine to star in the film, immediately thought of signing up Abhinaya for the role.

The next day, Abhinaya was at Murugadoss' office and signed the project after her character was explained to her. Thankfully, after taking up the offer of 'Ezhaam Arivu', Abhinaya has got another assignment as solo heroine in a Kannada film opposite Puneet Rajkumar, one of the top stars in Sandalwood.
